Off road motor biking Fuerteventura

Off road motor biking means you can explore the trails of Fuerteventura, ride through the strange lunar like volcanic landscape and discover little deserted coves and small inland and coastal villages.

Novice off road motor bikers can get to grips with sand and gravel tracks while those with more experience can tackle the sand dunes and dry volcanic river flows.

There are a number of off road motor bike hire companies around the island which organise tours.

If you are in Caleta de Fuste, there is a tour to the north of the island running through sand dunes to the lovely coast of El Cotillo.

There is also a four hour off road tour along local trails through valleys, villages and a camel farm. If you are more of a spectator, in Puerto del Rosario there is an annual motocross event where you can watch bike riders hurl through the air. The event is usually held in April.
