I just felt we needed
to drop you a few lines, as we had a great holiday, the apartment was excellent and complex was so clean. We appreciate the help you gave us on our stay and will definately be looking to come back in the future. Back to reality now and work. Just to say thanks for providing such lovely accommodation for our week with you - and as we said lovely to have the bonus of two balconies. We both benefited from a relaxing week and had the bonus of just having a bank holiday weekend so gonna be hard next week - a full week of work!! Weather not too bad over weekend - able to 'top the tans' up a bit but miserable today - shouldn't expect anymore should we!! Will definitely consider visiting you again sometime. Thanks again to you both. I've survived the week, thanks - 460 miles of pedalling in a blast furnace. I loved it; and the scenery certainly grows on you. I'll stick your email and apartment details on the Cycling Plus newsgroup, if you don't mind, along with a report of what a great base it is for a week's quality biking The apartment was great - very well appointed and near to all the night life. We are glad we found this lovely apartment
advertised on the internet. The apartment itself is first class and has
everything we could possibly need. The complex is good and reasonably
quiet. The swimming pool is lovely. This is our second visit to the
island and we love it. We have had some great food and plenty of
sangria! Can't fault the restaurants at all. Love the snacks at Scotch Corner and the steak at Mambos.The Picnic Box along the coast is excellent, lovely snacks there too. It's true about the chipmunks, they really do come right up to you and take the nuts. Hope to bring our granddaughter to feed them next time. Sue and Ian Birkinhead, October 10-24 2007 We have been visiting the island now for 20 years and this has been one of the nicest apartments that we have stayed in. Just like home from home. The complex is nice and quiet and ideally situated for the town, beach etc. The pool was excellent, had it all to ourselves! Would recommend Fado Rock for the best steak on the island and value for money. If you walk down to the harbour check out the Picnic Box which is juston the coastal path, another good place to eat and enjoy a drink with lovely views of the sea and friendly service. If you enjoy a laugh in the evening visit the lap and Tickle Fun Pub situated in Castillo Mar where you will find the bar staff crazy, very attentitive. They will make your night. Special thanks to Sue for an enjoyable time and we will definitely be back. Sandra and Peter September 26 - October 10 2007 We found the apartment very clean and ideal for what we were looking for. Been to the island many times since 1995 each time we've come back we soo improvement for the better. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of good restaurants to chose from. Bus service is great if you don't have a car. The only downer on the week was not being able to use the swimming pool for two days but overall we had a really good time. Thanks Sue.
