Fuerteventura is not part of EU. If you have an accident, you WILL be asked to produce your E111 otherwise you will be billed for any treatment - from a broken wrist to a major heart operation.

The E111 only covers emergency treatment. It does not cover any extra costs covering a long stay in hospital or the expense involved should you or your family have to be specially flown home.

Buying travel insurance from a travel agent is expensive so we have teamed up with the companies on the left to offer you cheaper multi-holiday insurance.
